Building A Road Map!

24 09 2007

Building a road map as a Christian has made me realise that there are not enough hours in the day. My road map goes something like this:

  1. Make my Commitment
  2. Read the whole Bible
  3. Join a Cell group
  4. Get Baptized
  5. Become part of a Church
  6. Get my wedding vows blessed.
  7. Rest

I feel this is the agenda that God has set out for me and I must not deviate from this. Ironically it has seven stages, which is not dissimilar to God’s road map to creating the universe, although my road map falls well short of God’s initial agenda.

I often hear procrastination being mentioned, but I know God will guide me to the next stage when he feels that I’m ready for it, I feel that I must stick to the path. I am at stage two at the moment, which in a two month period, has so far been a fantastic rollercoaster journey. Here’s to the next four stages!

jibbitz anybody?

18 09 2007

Who would have thought it, me leading the way in fashion! Not only have I got myself a pair of crocs (not the real thing but close enough) but a jibbitz to go in it, thats right a jibbitz. If you would have asked me two days ago what a jibbitz was, I think I would have said something you find in a turkey, but alas I was wrong. To the educated a jibbitz is an accessory that goes on the croc. And what makes things even better is that I seem to be the envy of all my Christian friends!

While on holiday in South Cornwall, Teresa found a Christian fish jibbitz which was kindly brought for my right croc. Since then nobody has been able to find one the same, not even on eBay. Yes there are so called Christian jibbitz out there, but it taks a certain type of jibbitz to be a Christian jibbitz!

If you have got a Christian jibbitz why not share it with the rest of us and include it in a comment below.
